Coaching

Depth. Threshold. Return.

One-to-one coaching for people moving through a major life transition — work, relationship, meaning, or identity. Structured, depth-oriented conversation. Not therapy.

Who this is for

People at a threshold, not in a crisis.

You might be leaving a career that no longer fits. A relationship ended, or should. You finished therapy and want to keep going without a diagnosis.

Something opened in ceremony and ordinary life feels different now. You're doing well by every external measure and quietly unsatisfied. A faith or worldview cracked and you're rebuilding. Or you keep arriving at the same wall and want to understand why.

What these have in common: you're functioning, you're not in danger, and the question in front of you is bigger than a technique. You want someone who takes the size of it seriously.

What happens in a session

Sixty minutes, by video.

You bring what's live — a decision, a pattern, a question you can't put down. I listen for what's underneath it, name what I'm seeing, and ask the questions that move it. Where direction helps, I'm direct.

You leave with something specific to work with before we meet again: a decision clarified, a pattern named, a practice to test, or a conversation to have. Between sessions the work is yours; the sessions are where it gets thought through with someone.

How this differs from therapy

Coaching, not treatment.

Therapy treats diagnosable conditions, often works through insurance, and focuses on symptom relief and healing. Coaching isn't treatment: no diagnosis, no clinical record, no insurance billing. It focuses on direction, meaning, and what you do next.

Therapy tends the wound and brings the exile home. This work lifts the whole self toward what it's becoming.

I'm clinically trained, which matters here for one reason: if what surfaces is better served by treatment, I'll tell you plainly and help you find it. Depth, and good judgment about its limits.

Time and cost

A single session, or a longer arc.

Most people start with one session and decide from there. If the work wants more time, there are longer arcs — the per-session rate goes down as the commitment goes up.

The Session
A single 60-minute conversation, for when one thing needs to be seen clearly. $150
The Short Arc
Three sessions, to move through a specific threshold from near side to far. $420 · $140 per session
The Season
Twelve weekly sessions — a true season, one turn of the year, for a passage that needs sustained tending. $1,620 · $135 per session
The Long Walk
Twenty-six sessions across a full year, met every other week — the deep remaking, walked at a stride you can keep. $3,250 · $125 per session

Sessions are held by video, wherever you are. Arcs are arranged after the first conversation.
